Privacy Policy
Sage & Bloom Journal is published by Healing Vibz Enterprises, LLC ("we", "us"). Effective date: October 11, 2026.
What the app stores, and where
These things are stored only on your phone, in the app's own storage:
- Your first name, if you choose to give one
- Your journal entries and their dates
- Your goals, action steps, and check-in dates
- Your vision board photos, labels, and ratings
- Your settings, such as reminder times, color theme, and whether the app lock is on
- A trusted person's name and phone number, if you choose to add one on the support screen
We cannot see any of this, and we do not receive a copy.
Backups you make yourself
"Save my journal" creates a file that you choose where to keep, for example Google Drive, iCloud Drive, Files, or email. That file holds your whole journal and is not encrypted, so please keep it somewhere private. If you turn on your phone's own backup (iCloud Backup or Google backup), it may also include the app's data. Apple or Google handles that under their own policies.
Photos
When you add a photo to your vision board, the app uses your phone's photo picker to open only the photos you choose. It saves a smaller copy inside the app. The app does not look at the rest of your photo library and does not use your camera.
Notifications
Reminders are created on your phone. We do not use a push server, so nothing about your reminders is sent to us.
Calendar (Premium)
If you turn on "Add to my calendar", the app asks for permission to add events to your phone's calendar. It adds only your journal times, and it removes or updates them when you change your settings. It does not read your other events for any purpose of ours, and nothing from your calendar is sent to us.
App lock
If you turn on the lock, the app asks your phone to confirm it is you, using Face ID, a fingerprint, or your phone's passcode. We never receive your biometric data or passcode.
Support and safety
The app has a "Need support?" screen with links to crisis and support services. Tapping one opens your phone's dialer, messages, or web browser. The app does not read, scan, or analyze what you write, and it cannot tell anyone how you are feeling. A trusted person you save stays on your phone only, and the app never contacts them. The app is not a medical service and is not a substitute for professional care.
Premium purchases
If you buy Premium, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google. We use a service called RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app ID and purchase information from the store. It does not receive your journal. You can read how RevenueCat handles information at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Links to other websites
The vision board has a link to Unsplash, a free photo website. If you open it, you leave the app and that website's own privacy policy applies. Some photos there are paid, so please check before you use one.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because we do not collect your journal or account details at all, there is nothing for us to delete or share.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the journal from your phone. Files you saved with "Save my journal" are yours to delete. If you bought Premium, you can cancel any time in your Apple or Google account settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. If a future version adds accounts or cloud sync, we will update this policy before it does.
